Newport News, Virginia: IVET Solutions is making some big moves enter 2016 with the launch of their new radio show IVET HOUR, redesigned live classes, E-journal access, and foundation base scholarship program. IVET plans to involve the community by opening the doors to voice their opinions and concerns with the current military problems. The focus in 2016 will help involve all organizations to finally come together to find the solutions that the community needs.
IVET Solutions is now being led by Senior Leader Gerald (Jerry) Gochenour, who plans to continue in the efforts helping active duty, Veterans, spouses and children. The focus of IVET Solutions will remain helping unite all military organizations to enhance the voice of the military community. “We are so excited for this new year. We have so much going on and our organization is looking for any help we can get. With the radio show and classes beginning in a just a couple months, we are looking for volunteers and sponsors to help IVET Solutions achieve all the goals we set at the beginning of the year. Our scholarship program has taken off since 2015, we hope to help more students and spouses reach the academic success that they deserve. Our focus is to build the right programs for the military community to insure that we are helping the people that need it most," said Stephanie Lara, Producer at IVET Solutions.
The radio show, IVET Hour will be live on the Heroes Media Group Network every Wednesday at 5:00 P.M.-6:00 P.M. starting February 3rd. The IVET Hour will have a variety of hosts and guests to create awareness of the real issues going on with active duty, Veterans, and the whole military community. IVET Solutions is currently redesigning live classes in the Virginia area, to focus on the skills that Veterans are currently needing the most. IVET has created surveys and help Veterans voice their own opinions on what skills and certifications they need to achieve the careers they deserve. The commentary we receive will also go towards the IVET Solutions Ejournal, which will be based on all the conversations, stories, and advice from the military community. The E-journal will be published every 6-months and will be free to access on the IVET Solutions website.
In 2015, IVET Solutions was able to award two scholarships to spouses in the community to help further their education . This year IVET wants to expand this program by awarding four scholarships for the Fall semester to spouses and children.
